Nova, the Australian company know for their precision wood lathes and chucks, have just announced a new ornamental turning tool.

This is a highly specialist bit of wood turning kit - not for the beginner at a few cents short of $500 (and more if you buy the accessories).

I like making clocks. At the basic level it’s easy to insert a clock mechanism or make something with a cheap quartz movement. At the other end of the scale you can make superb heirloom furniture. The possibilities are endless.
